All ages and levels are welcome. Children under 10 are strongly encouraged to have prior musical experience. Lessons are taught at Maytan Music Center, Tuesday through Friday, from 1pm until 8pm. Monthly rates start at $80 for a half hour lesson once a week. - Styles and Subjects - Rock, Classical, Blues, Flamenco, Metal, Jazz, Funk, Latin, Reggae and Ska, Folk, World. Fingerpicking, Flatpicking, Harmony and Theory, Sightreading, Ear Training, Composition, Improvisation, Two Hand Tapping, Guitar Maintenance. - Education and Experience - Honors Graduate from The Musician's Institute (GIT), Los Angeles, CA. Recipient of the Momand Music Scholarship, University of Nevada, Reno. 15 years experience teaching privately. Guitarist for 10 ton Neumann, Slow Djinn Fez, Brian Landrus Project, The Mudsharks, War Maggots, and solo performance. - Mission Statement- My goal is to make learning music fun. I truly enjoy sharing the gift of music with my students. All lessons are custom tailored to fit the individual's needs, including transcriptions of your favorite songs or solos.
